This set of films has to be one of my favourite commercial projects, as its overall look was just so bold and striking. 

My brief was to be bold, creative and eye catching for this campaign.

In collaboration with graphic artist Jonny Glover, we used a blackboard as a prop which our interviewees were invited to contribute to. The illustrations and key words added by each teacher created a united message spoken in one voice that built throughout the film. With added animations and shown in black and white, the film carried a strong and clear message.

It was important to me in making this that the voices and messages in the film were as genuine as possible. Therefore the scripted sections were written using interviews conducted prior to filming, and written statements from educators.
