As a London-based shooting director and editor, I bring my love for the outdoors into my work. I am committed to representative storytelling, believing in the power of collaboration and creating films with a positive impact.

After graduating with a first-class honours degree in practical filmmaking from the University of the Arts London, I took on the role of in-house director at a small production company where I directed, shot, and edited films. I thrive on this multi-disciplinary approach to filmmaking, which has given me the skills to carry projects from start to finish. It has also helped when collaborating, as I have a deeper understanding of my crews responsibilities and workflow. In September 2022 I made the decision to focus more on work I’m passionate about, so took the leap to go freelance.

Aside from my studies and career, I co-founded the first all-women climbing YouTube channel, which I ran for three years. We gained over 30k followers and worked with RedBull and Adidas. My first short film, Hers To Take, featured several female adventure athletes and examined their relationships to fear. This was nominated for several awards, including winning the BMC Women in Adventure Most Watched Award. It was also broadcast on the TV network Starz in the USA.

Originating from Devon, I have a strong connection to the outdoors, using nature as a source of inspiration where ever possible. I believe in the power of good communication and love supporting my clients in finding the best ways to communicate their message, whether expressed through interview material or in creative style. As a passionate rock climber, I’m often influenced by the aesthetic of this underground sport and its counter-culture, as well as the inspiring stories that go with it.

My hope for the future is to combine my love of wilderness and green spaces with storytelling, creating work that aligns with my core interests and values: our relationship with the outdoors, empowerment through sport, grassroots community, elevating unheard voices, and our connections with nature.
